Visa Information & Invitation Letters
Because of new extended times for the US State Department to respond to new requirements, beginning the visa process now can help ensure that you have a visa in time for the PNEC 12th International conference.

To assist you in attending PNEC/Houston, we offer this information to make the trip easier for you. Most travelers to the US will require a visa and should follow the guidelines under Option #1. Travelers originating from one of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries may choose to follow Option #2; however, special note should be made to the new machine-readable passport requirements. Option #1 All travelers to the US require a visa unless from a Visa Waiver Program Country as mentioned above. The following guidelines will assist you in obtaining a visa in time for travel to PNEC/Houston:
Official Letter of Invitation
This letter outlines the reason for your travel and is used as a supporting document in your visa application. Please provide us with the information needed and we will send you an invitation letter to assist you in the visa process:
Participants in the PNEC 12th International Conference may send to us the following information for us to provide you with an Official Letter of Invitation. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit PNEC or Philip C. Crouse and Associates, Inc., to pay any expenses you may incur.
We have been advised that the review process for a visa can take months, and it is imperative that the process be started early. They have instructed us that it is the sole responsibility of the attendee to obtain the necessary paperwork for entry to the United States.

Option #2 For those traveling to the US without a visa from the 27 Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries (see Option #1 above), a machine-readable passport is now required. If your country is not yet issuing machine-readable passports, you will need to obtain a visa for travel as referred to in Option #1.
Machine Readable Passports Requirements Machine-readable passports issued after 26 October 2005 require a digital photograph printed on the data page or an integrated chip with information from the data page. To determine if you have a machine-readable passport, visit the U.S. Visas Information site at U.S. Visas Information Home - http//travel.state.gov and Machine-Readable Passport Requirements -http//travel.state.gov All this information is a general guideline for travel to the United States.
